Our Story

The founders of Energy Source want to use this website to share the insights we have gained during our many years in the business of nutrition.

             The people behind Energy Source have been seriously interested in how nutrition affects living organisms -- people, animals and plants -- since the 1950s. We have lived through many fads and controversies: Vitamin E is a miracle/vitamin E is dangerous; eggs are good /eggs are terrible; high protein diets are best/high carbohydrate diets are best, and on and on.

 We soon learned that while much of the information may be sound science, a substantial amount of it might be someone’s incomplete or barely-proven theory. The problem lies in finding a way to distinguish between them.

 Over the years we have acquired considerable experience in the formulation and manufacture of many health-related products including nutritional supplements, foods, beverages, pet foods, and pet supplements. We have learned a lot about the difference between what is undeniably important and what is merely an excuse to sell yet another product. That is the information we want to share with you.
